Persona and scenario 1, Sonya.

Persona 1 (Sonya)

Sonya is a 30 year old real-estate broker situated in Moscow. She decided

at the age of 18 to move from her hometown, Chelyabinsk, to the much more

opportunity filled capital of Russia. Despite the questionable amount of

knowledge Sonya acquired from her small-town gymnasium, her determination

quickly paved the way for her to become a good real-estate broker. At the age of 25, Sonya met a man, Igor, that later became her husband. Their shared love for history brought them together. They have now been married for 5 years and have three children, Alexander, Vladimir and Boris. The family lives in an apartment just outside the Red Square.

Sonya has a major interest for technology. She tries to keep up with the latest innovations, but rarely finds the time to properly delve into the latest tech. Since Sonya first purchased a smartphone, she carries it around at all times. She has been using several smartphone applications that make her job as a real-estate broker easier. After realising the potential of apps, Sonya now regularly checks out the app store to find any new, potentially useful smartphone applications.

After several months of hard work, Sonya's hectic lifestyle takes its toll, she needs a vacation. After some consideration, the family decides to go on a trip to the capital of Sweden. The old city of Stockholm and the Vasa museum has been on her mind for a long time, and now she can finally visit it. Despite her husband's advice, Sonya decides to bring her laptop and phone. A job situation, or other problems, might arise at any time. In times of need, Sonya's smartphone and the vast amount of information accessible through it,have delivered countless times. 

Scenario 1

Sonya wakes up at 06:03 in the morning by her little boy Vladimir who is screaming that he’s hungry and wants to eat breakfast. Sonya realized that today will be a hectic day.  Sonya and the rest of her family start the day by eating breakfast at Hilton Hotel in Slussen where they reside. The previous day the family had decided to visit Vasamuseum and her husband had got some information from the hotel receptionist that the fastest way from their hotel to Vasamuseum is by walking to the docks and taking the fairy to Vasamuseum. So after their breakfast they started to walking to the docks and finding the docks wasn’t hard due to the fact that the receptionist had told them to just go straight forward until you see the boat terminal. When they arrived at the boat terminal the terminal where unmanned and one of the ticket machine was broken. There was a line of confused tourist who had it difficult to buy tickets, even Sonya and Igor had it difficult to buy the correct tickets, there where a bunch of different tickets to choose and while they where trying to purchase tickets the kids started to fighting. They day had already turned badly. After receiving help from some kindly swedes they manage to purchase tickets for the whole family. During the travel on the boat they got confused on which station they should go off.  Luckily they got off the correct station and started to walking towards Vasamuseum, the path from the docks to Vasamuseum wasn’t easy, they went wrong several times due to the lack of signs. Eventually after some time they arrived at Vasamuseum.

The family didn’t know what to do when they got lost, when they had it difficult to buy tickets or they didn’t have any guides that guided them through all the different attraction on Djurgården. This led to that Sonya didn’t really have the opportunity of enjoying her time together with her family.

Scenario 2

Sonya and her family had seen Gröna Lund when they previously visited Vasamuseum and thought that maybe it’s a good idea of taking their kids to an amusement park. Now that they know how to get there they can enjoy Stockholm more. The travel to Gröna Lund hadn’t got them in to any difficulties but when after Sonya had been in Gröna Lund for a while she got a headache due to the fact that the her kids screamed, Igor didn’t stop talking and the amusement park was overcrowded. She decided that she needed some free time for her self. So she went on the boat and thought what she wanted to do/explore but she didn’t really know what Stockholm had to offer.
